I am thrilled to tell you all that I am part of the blog tour for Lisa’s fantastic new novel Catch me if you Cannes.  Definitely the perfect summer read this year.  My Review is below.

Blurb
Jess has decided it’s time to get out of her comfort zone and live a little. So when her best friend Bryony, a journalist on a gossip magazine, is sent to cover the Cannes Film Festival, Jess decides to seize the day and go along for the ride. Two weeks of sun, glamour and exclusive entry into celeb-filled parties is just the kind of adventure Jess needs.

Reality soon bites though when Jess and Bryony find they’re staying in a dingy hotel far away from all the action and Bryony’s expenses budget barely covers a glass of local wine. Undeterred, the two women are determined to live like the elite and enjoy one fancy night out to begin their holiday. So what if they have to tell a few white lies along the way? It’s just this once. No harm done . . . right?

I have loved every book by Lisa and she is just getting better and better! Lisa definitely knows how to write the perfect character with plenty of things going on that is going to make you laugh lots!

So whats happening?  well Jess has met a boy..yes a gorgeous at that, made lots of new friends and has felt how the other life lives now she may have to go back to her normal self but will she want to?
Jess and Leo are getting on like a house on fire, you could say she has never felt like this before and doesn’t want this holiday to stop…but then her best friend Bryony drops a bombshell and Jess doesn’t quite know whether to believe her or try and prove her Best Friend wrong about Leo?

Jess is such a funny character, she is just plain Jane but as soon as she came to Cannes with her best friend Bryony and has made lots of new friends who like to party, spend lots of money and are in the crowds with celebrities.  She gets her self in some disastrous scenario’s but gives you plenty of giggles! Jess & Leo are so cute together! Their love for Nutella & Crepes is so cute and throughout the book I’m rooting for them to get together!

I cannot fault Catch me If You Cannes at all, It is a perfect summer read and I couldn’t put it down! If you want a book to make you giggle throughout, then your at the right place! Catch Me If You Cannes has plenty of drama, crazy moments, a bit of romance and a dream life anybody would be jealous of Jess & Bryony!
Well everything just gets even more complicated for Jess in the last part of
Catch Me If You Cannes. She is out to prove Leo isn’t a drug lord which Bryony has said he is, but things just get ever so confusing and even more drama happens in Jess’ life. . . I don’t want to say much more because I just think you should buy this and read for yourself!

You will most certainly laugh (be careful of reading in public) and will be hoping Jess gets her happily ever after which is what you want in any chick lit book at the end! The whole book is just pure fantastic with plenty of laughs throughout! Perfect Summer read this year.

Thank You Lisa and Clara at Little Brown for letting me part of this amazing blog tour! I’ve enjoyed the book ever so much! I am going to be passing the book on to my friends so they can all have a giggle while reading this amazing book like I did.
When’s the next book Lisa?
You Fantastic Lady!

I reward Catch Me If You Cannes 5 fantastic, amazing, sizzling hot shimmering stars.

It was great to follow Olivia who has never experienced a true traditional Christmas as her family choose a winter holiday rather than decking the halls. She is a bit of a Scrooge you would say but to be stranded in New York after a work trip sounds like a perfect plan…However Jon Olivia’s friend he always has the perfect traditional Christmas with all his family and is desperate to get home in time for Christmas. Nevertheless he is determined to crack Olivia and show her how enchanting Christmas in New York can be…but with a slight twist of a handsome New Yorker thrown in to the mix called Elijah.

Poster 1

Today I am Part of this fantastic witty author Lisa Dickenson’s Blog tour for her very Christmassy and Sparkling new novel The Twelve Dates of Christmas.

I am such a big fan of Lisa’s novels, she has written some cracking stories which have made me cry with laughter, I knew this book was going to be exactly the same..

The Twelve dates of Christmas we meet the lovely Claudia who has a boyfriend called Seth and theyve been together for 5years, she wants him to take her on more dates.. but the date goes completey wrong,Claudia is left all alone and single once again..

this book was just purely comical, I was in stitches reading each date, something always seemed to go wrong which it made it ever more funny.
The characters are hilarious, Nick is my favourite, I love Nick! Penny and Claudia when they fight its just funny, kinda reminds me of me and my best friend how we act with each other sometimes.
I could rave about twelve dates of Christmas all day however I think you need to go pick this sparkly festive book up for yourself, have a good laugh and just enjoy it.

Lisa writes her books with such wit and humour it really brings her books to life. She is an amazing lady and I am eagerly waiting for her next novel..
I give 5 stars for being so amazingly good, such a festive feel good and full of humour that you just can’t put the book down!

Lisa Dickenson was born in the wrong body. She was definitely meant to be Beyonce. Despite this hardship, she grew up in Devon attempting to write her own, completely copyright-infringing versions of Sweet Valley High, before giving Wales a go for university, and then London a go for the celeb-spotting potential. She’s now back in Devon, living beside the seaside with her husband and forcing cream teas down the mouths of anyone who’ll visit. She is sadly still not Beyonce.
